Returns
This policy is a draft prepared for review and must be approved before launch. It describes the intended terms rather than a binding commitment.
Window
Unused knives may be returned within 30 days of delivery. The knife must be in the condition it arrived in: no cut marks on the edge, no patina on carbon steel, handle and box intact.
What cannot be returned
Knives that have been used, sharpened, dropped or modified. For hygiene reasons we also cannot accept returns once a knife has been used on food.
How to start
Write to hello@forgedblade.com with your order number and the reason for the return. We will confirm the address and instructions.
Return shipping
Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the knife arrived damaged or we sent the wrong item. Pack the knife so the edge is protected — a knife loose in a padded envelope will arrive damaged and cannot be refunded.
Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned knife has been inspected.
Faults
If a knife arrives with a defect in materials or workmanship, contact us before using it. Photographs of the fault help us resolve it quickly.
